Coaching

Coaching

Choosing a coach is an important decision. You need to feel comfortable communicating with your coach for the relationship to work well. The success of the coaching depends on this as we will really get to know each other. Coaching is an empowering relationship that focuses completely on you and your agenda.

What to expect

The first step begins with a conversation about what your goals are and what areas you are seeking help with from the coach. From there we will discuss a structure for our coaching and set up our first appointments. I will send you my welcome packet for you to complete before our first session. Before our first session, you will also receive a DISC personality assessment to complete online. The assessment is usually completed in 15-20 minutes.

Coaching sessions are usually conducted in a face to face meeting in or around the Atlanta area. Telephone coaching is also available to local and out of state clients. Many of my clients live in different states and their sessions are successfully held over the phone. Each session lasts for one hour with unlimited emails and spot calls (usually 5 minutes in length) in between regular sessions.

Coaching generally consists of 2 sessions per month. A DISC Personality Assessment is included as part of my services to all new clients. This assessment is reviewed during the first initial intake session. New clients are asked to commit to the coaching relationship for a minimum of 3 months.

If you are still unsure about coaching, please continue to the Frequently Asked Questions page or just contact me and I will be happy to answer any of your questions. Feel free to take advantage of your complimentary, no obligation coaching call. I’m not big on high pressure sales tactics. If you would like to work with me – great. If not – that’s great too. We will part as friends. Maybe you know someone that is looking for a coach. Spread the word. I always tell my clients, “no one will ever hear from me that we are working together, but if you are happy feel free to tell the world! “

I look forward to hearing from you.

Here are a few testimonials of what my clients say about the Discovery Session;

“Wow, Wow, Wow! I enjoyed that so much. My personality type and adjectives were dead on. But what was really more important to me was the action plan. This is the first assessment that I have done that takes the information beyond identifying a style and applying some buzzwords around the style. The DISC assessment and Donna guided me through questions to help me understand how my style operates in my everyday life. It was moving to see my blind spot and now I am able to work through my blind spot and live to my full potential. Thank you so much for your time.” S. Greve, Atlanta, Georgia

“I had my session today with Donna and it was wonderful. It allowed me not only to own some of my favorite and not so favorite traits, but it also allowed me to think through a mitigating plan for my blind spot. Donna offered a good balance of listening and challenging. She created a safe place for sharing my blind spot and personal fears. ” I. Monlouis, Atlanta, Georgia

“I had the opportunity to acquire Donna’s coaching services as I contemplated starting a small business – a subject that Donna had a good bit of knowledge about. Donna was so personable and easy to talk to that eventually we branched out into other topics. As my life coach and mentor I have found her to be a woman of integrity and I have full confidence in her. She is a thoughtful sounding board who has brought insight and clarity to many different topics of conversation we have discussed. Her positive outlook and deep faith are truly inspirational and motivating. Consistently upbeat and positive, I am fortunate to not only call her my life coach, but also my friend.”
Toni Wall, Birmingham, Alabama

“Donna has an adept talent for getting to the heart of the matter. She sees things clearly for what they are and how it may, or may not, hinder someone’s personal expansion. Donna has the uncanny ability to see the good within a person or situation and somehow activate it. She almost always has a different point of view, allowing the other person a perspective that they had not considered before. Donna has a way of seeing others as she knows they want to be. She not only trusts in their own ability to obtain what that is, but also expects and believes this to be true. This is her greatest gift of all.”
Christine Clark, Lawrenceville, Georgia
